NCVC Ruminant Ultrasound Workshop - Thorax and Abdomen - Sunday, November 9 | 8:30AM - 12:45PM

This hands-on, half-day workshop is designed for veterinary practitioners seeking to enhance their skills in thoracic and abdominal ultrasonography for ruminant patients. Participants will gain practical experience performing ultrasounds on live cows and goats, working in small groups to ensure individualized instruction and ample scanning time. Attendees may use their own ultrasound equipment (recommended if available) or units provided by the organizers. For optimal learning, we recommend pairing this workshop with the NCVC Conference on Saturday, which includes two one-hour lectures covering ruminant anatomy, ultrasound techniques, image optimization, and a wide range of clinical case examples. These sessions will provide a strong foundation for the hands-on practice offered during the workshop. Lunch will be provided at the end of the workshop - please indicate any dietary preferences in your registration.
