Community Outreach Event w/ DEGA Mobile Veterinary Care
Participate in a free pop-up clinic during NCVC!
NCVC is excited to partner with DEGA Mobile Veterinary Care to provide care for unsheltered and low income individuals and their animals in the Raleigh area. We are seeking volunteers for two clinic sessions on Friday November 7. We need to fill veterinarian roles, as well as technician/assistant roles. If the veterinarian roles are filled, doctors are welcome to sign up and participate as a technician or assistant. Veterinarian volunteers should have individual liability insurance that covers their medical work and should bring their own personal equipment (stethoscope). All medical equipment, medications, and supplies are provided by DEGA. We will help coordinate carpooling to the event, which will be in downtown Raleigh at the Purr Cup Cat Café.
Sign up will take place through the conference registration site. Questions? Contact Dr. April Gessner at degamobileveterinarycare@gmail.com.
